  • A group of 10 boys attended MUN hosted by the The PPS Nabha,PANJAB. The WBS Delegation won Outstanding Delegation Trophy. The individual awards were as follows : Aditya Mehra UNHRC Best Delegate, Sannidhya Aggarwal UNSC Best Delegate, Argha Gupta ECOSOC Outstanding Delegate, Yuvraj Gambhir UNDP Best Delegate and Mitansh Narag IP Special Mention.

  • Students of the Financial Studies Department paid a visit to the ASKA Fire Extinguisher and Disaster Management Equipments Unit in Roorkee on 19 March, 2019.

  • The Department of IT organised the Inter-House Gaming Competition for Middle School from March 5 to March 7, 2019. The enthusiasm and participation of the boys was commendable and the level of the competition was very high.

  • Welham Boys' School celebrated the 'National Science Day, 2019' as a mark of respect to Dr.C.V. Raman, the most eminent scientist of India and the world. The theme this year was "Science for people and people for Science." The resource person for the entire day's celebration was Dr.Ganga S.Rautela(retd.) Director General, National Council of Science Museums, Kolkata.

  • A captivating Investiture Ceremony 2019 takes place in the Activity Centre, presided over by Mr Ashok Kumar, D.G. Police (Law and Order/CID/Prosecution). The old prefect body slowly marches in to hand over their responsibilities to the newly elected body.

  • Prateek Tibrewal, appearing for his XII Board examinations in March, 2019 has scored 99.78 percentile in JEE Mains, becoming the Uttarakhand topper.

About us

Welham Boys' School is a residential school for boys, in Dehra Dun, affiliated to the C.B.S.E., India. Nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas over an area of 30 acres, the school lies amidst the hills and rivers of the Doon valley. Students from varying backgrounds and from many different parts of the sub-continent and beyond, attend the school.

WBS Initiative

Welham Boys' School has committed to provide 5 seats to children of the Martyrs of the Indian Army, (those killed in combat) upon the child qualifying the entrance proficiency and aptitude test, at a concessional fee/ scholarship of 50%. Such students will only pay 50% of the fees.

Welham Boys' School is currently providing one such scholarship to a child of a Martyr. This is in addition to the School's existing perquisite of free education for Armed Forces Children/whose Mothers are teaching in the School.
