tGELF Workshop

The Global Education & Leadership Foundation (tGELF) organized a workshop for the teachers of our School on the 17th July and 18th of July, 2016. This workshop rejuvenated the teachers and geared for the term ahead.

The objective of this workshop was to empower the teachers to hone the leadership skills of students in the classroom and build a community of ethical and altruistic leaders, who work together to improve the state of the world.

The workshop started with all the teachers introducing themselves. The various activities, like ‘mind game’ and ‘select a leader’, gave an idea to the teachers about how to bring out the best in the students and provide an informal environment to express themselves. Teachers could organize these activities for the students in the class.

This tGELF workshop would help teachers to identify and nurture children with potential to be great leaders, committed to improving the state of the inner and outer worlds, with strong leadership skills, ethics, altruism, and decisive action (LEAD)

It helped provide an insight into one’s everyday communication with others. The knowledge gained from this workshop will help teachers to understand what drives our behaviour and the behaviour of others. The workshop focused on the components of personal values, motivation, and goals and showed how they are all interconnected with one another.

This fun, interactive, and inclusive workshop was a perfect way to get off on the right foot and make the new term special for the teachers as well as for the students.
