Graduation Day February 18 2012
The School bid farewell to the graduating batch of 2012 by celebrating it in a solemn and ceremonious manner. To make the occasion special each student of the Platinum batch planted a tree on the campus to reiterate the school’s concern towards environment .Professor Harish Chaudhary from IIT Delhi graced the occasion and lead the academic procession of teachers followed by the batch of 2012.
The graduation ceremony commenced with the reading of a prayer followed by a motivational song presented by the School Choir.Mrs G.Bindra introduced the eminent chief guest to the august gathering and subsequently highlighted outstanding achievements of the graduating batch besides delivering an inspiring message, blessings and wishing good luck for future endeavors.
In addition to the above, the graduating batch was invited on stage to receive citation and a pen by the Chief Guest. This was followed by felicitation of students with different awards like Subject, Distinction Certificate and Special Awards like Best Speaker Hindi and English apart from Best Musician of the Year Award. It was a matter of great honor and pride for the parents of students winning the Service to the Community Award, Sportsman of the Year, and Principal’s Commendation for Exemplary Performance in Skating, Faculty Award for Exemplary Behavior and Kataria Trophy for the Best All Rounder to be called on stage with their wards to receive the award. The signing of the Scholar’s Book after felicitation added solemnity to the function.
Prof Chaudhary’s Graduation Day Address mesmerized the gathering. It was punctuated with humour, insight and profound thought. The Head Boy was invited to deliver his vote of thanks. His nostalgic goodbye message was impromptu and touching.
The ceremony concluded with the recitation of a Sanskrit prayer and address by two Parents .Finally, an inspirational song was presented by the Choir and simultaneously Wish Lamps were released in the air by the class of 2012.
