Young Round Square Conference

24 -26 APRIL, 2015

12 students with Mrs Vandana kumar went to attend the Young Round Square Conference to All Saints’ College in the beautiful hill town of Nainital. As soon as they reached they were ushered for an ice breaking session in their Basket Ball courts.

The conference began with an opening ceremony, with an address by Mr Rawat ( DM of Nainital) which was followed by hoisting of the school flags by the respective school flag bearers. A talk on creating awareness about the Musk Deer by Ms. Ira Rawat was captivating. Following this was a trip to the Botanical Gardens which had many herbs and varieties of Cactii.

Thereafter the students were treated to lunch, after which there was an exciting and fulfilled visit to the caves. The students enjoyed it thoroughly.

This evening was packed with a Barazza session, where the students interacted with each other, followed by the cultural evening.

Weather packed up the next day, spoiling all the plans scheduled for the day. However, we all managed a walk to the Lake Club for The Principals lunch.

In the afternoon was a talk on Environment by Dr. Rawat, an environmentalist, followed by an intensive Barazza session. The closing ceremony was presided by the school Principal.

The conference ended with a jam session which was enjoyed by all.
