Reader's Enchantment

Reading is one of the most important habits that a person must inculcate to be successful in today's competitive world. An avid reader has a distinct advantage over the masses in his or her thought and action.

To propagate the reading habit among students, Welham Boys' School held a Book Fair in the LRC on 13th – 14th April, 2012. The fair was declared open at 10:30 am by the Principal, Mrs. Gunmeet Bindra along with Rinchin Norbu and Raghav Singla who were selected by the Principal because they had read maximum number of books.

The Book Fair was a festival for all those who love books. The entire school participated in the event. There was a constant buzz during the fair. There was a wide variety of books at the students' disposal. The books ranged from Fiction to Maths Puzzle, Sci-Fi to Classical Literature. There was a lot of excitement among the children as they looked for new books. Staff members also helped children to buy appropriate books.  It provided a stage for teachers and parents to come together and contribute towards developing a good, solid skill and habit in their wards that lasts a lifetime.

Overall, it was a successful event. Many students got inspired to read.  The Book Fair finally came to an END but only to begin afresh.
