National Workshop on School Quality Assessment and Accreditation (SQAA)

SQAA is a quality initiative proposed by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to offer global parameters of attainment as standards in schools affiliated to it. The CBSE School Quality Assessment and Accreditations (SQAA) is holistic as it covers all aspects of a school functioning, namely its Scholastic and Co-scholastic Domains, Infrastructural Areas, Human Resources, Management and Administration, Leadership and Beneficiary Satisfaction.

On October 15th, seven teachers including the Principal, Ma’am Bindra attended a National workshop on SQAA. Dr Dinesh Kamra and Mr Ashutosh Sharma not only explained the process of accreditation in detail but also stressed upon the importance of documentation and evidence.

SQAA is mainly an exercise in self reflection and it aims at continuous quality improvement through self- analysis and self- monitoring of quality enhancement processes. It also promotes excellence at all levels in an institution.
