"The school of Rock" - Junior School Play (Founders' 18)

The exclusive, private school of Horace Green opens its door to the inimitable Dewey Finn. A struggling guitarist, Dewey arrives at Horace green pretending to be a substitute teacher. He successfully infuses rock and roll music and fun into the lives of the students. He goes on to start a rock band with the students when he discovers that they are musical prodigies.

This play has added joy and fun to the actors, singers and everyone associated with it. It has made the children learn that music and dedication to something they love can change their lives. The introduction of a teacher who inspires and motivates them adds color and hope to the play. The play is also a testament to the fact that it is entirely managed by students. From backstage to props to music this is a student driven play.
