NewsScholars’ Recognition Day 12-08-2023

The school hosted the Scholars’ Recognition Day Programme to celebrate the academic achievements of Grade 10 students in the All India Secondary School Examinations (AISSE) 2023. The air was filled with the pride of the parents and the excitement of the students. The ceremony was initiated by the School Academic Captain, Sankalp Gupta. The awardees ranged from the first-timers (Bronze Scholar awardees) to the Scholar's Scarf awardees (for exemplary contribution to academic and co-curricular fields). A great number of students also received the first and second-timer Scholars' Gown for aptly meeting the distinction certificate award criteria.
Pranjal Baluni received the honorable Scholar’s Blue Blazer for his consistent excellent academic performance. Eshaan Agarwal and Atharva Agarwal were commended for their outstanding results. The ceremony was concluded with an inspiring address by the Principal, Ma'am Kain, and a Vote of Thanks by the School Captain, Trayambak Pathak. The students left for a well-deserved night out with their parents.

Welham Boys’ School started life as Welham Preparatory School way back in 1937, when Ms. Oliphant invested her humble capital and started the School in a rented building, which she called White House. Later, she rented another building Bethany that today is our dining hall.
