The Spring Festival celebrations at Welham Boys’ School, spanning April 12-13, 2024, commenced with an auspicious inauguration of the Book Fair by Mr Mahesh Kandpal, the Vice Principal. The Parent-Teacher meeting proved to be an event of great significance as it provided an opportunity for parents to gain insight into their children's academic progress while also expressing their gratitude for the school's nurturing environment.

Mr Rakshit Tandon, a renowned cybersecurity expert conducted an informative session on the essential strategies for safeguarding privacy and security on our smartphones. His session provided practical tips and insights, empowering parent attendees to take proactive measures to protect their digital privacy. By demystifying the intricacies of smartphone security, Mr Tandon equipped his audience with valuable knowledge to navigate the digital realm safely and securely.
 
The festival’s charm resonated through captivating music and dance performances. Jamuna House's lively performance of "Can't Help Falling in Love" and "La Isla Bonita" electrified the audience, setting an energetic tone. Ganga House set a contemplative tone with their emotional performance of "Angelo" and "Sway", showcasing depth and finesse. Krishna House's lively performance of "El Condor Pasa" and "Cup Of Life" left a lasting impression on the audience. Cauvery House enthralled the audience with " Summer Wine" and " Livin' la Vida Loca” songs.
 
The students showcased their talents across genres like Hip-hop, Jazz, Tap, and freestyle, creating a vibrant tapestry of artistic expression in their Street Style Dance Performance.
 
The academic prowess of students at the school was recognized and celebrated through a time-honoured ceremony. The exceptional achievements of Atharv Agarwal, School Captain, were acknowledged with the distinguished Scholars' Scarf and Gown, reflecting his outstanding performance in both scholastic and co-scholastic realms. Additionally, Pranjal Baluni was presented with the coveted Gold Crest and Scholars Gown for maintaining exceptional academic excellence for eight consecutive years. Cauvery House won the Ramanujan Trophy for excellence in Mathematics, showcasing their intellectual prowess and competitive spirit. The Cauvery House was awarded the Trophy for Academic Excellence, symbolizing their ongoing pursuit of knowledge.

The Arthur Hughes Trophy for Inter-House  English Debates was awarded to Jamuna House, in recognition of the students' eloquence and critical thinking skills.

Ms. Kain, Principal of WBS, stated, "While we celebrate individual successes, our school's true strength lies in the diverse talents and achievements across all fields."
