Welham My Home
Spread over 30+ acres with more than 700 trees and 85 varieties of birds, the Welham Boys' School is nothing short of a piece of heaven on earth. As one walks around the School, many a times one stops and looks in sheer wonder and delight at the mighty Himalayas that provide the backdrop, adding beauty and grandeur to this School that we call our Home. For more than eight decades, Boys from all parts of the world have come here to study, to dream, to learn and to contribute so that when they pass out of the portals of this great institution, they go out as citizens of the world who give more than they receive. Lifelong bonds with their mentors and peers are forged here and even as they move on in life, they know that this School will always be home for them and the teachers their safest sounding boards. From the Boarding Houses to the Activity Center to the LRC, Bethany and beyond, our Boys make relationships to be cherished for a lifetime. It is not just the people and buildings of Welham that hold a meaning for them. It is the trees, the benches, the nooks and crannies that have a special place in their hearts. Home is where the heart is and we at Welham know that we have a little part of the heart of our Boys even after they leave the School.
