JUNIOR SCHOOL

For many young boys this is very often the first step into boarding life. As they grow, they cherish fond memories of the formative years spent in the Junior School.

Students of grades 4 to 6 live here. The Junior Residence comprises three hostels,

  • Oliphant
  • Rispana
  • Narmada

Students continue to live in Junior Residence until they move to Middle School.

Welham Boys’ School started life as Welham Preparatory School way back in 1937, when Ms. Oliphant invested her humble capital and started the School in a rented building, which she called White House. Later, she rented another building Bethany that today is our dining hall.
