NewsDining Etiquette Workshop for New Students: Cultivating Grace at the Table 09-04-2025

A Dining Etiquette Workshop was conducted for new students of Classes IV to VI, as well as for those of Classes VII to IX and XI, to help them adapt smoothly to the communal aspects of school life at Welham Boys’ School.

 

The sessions familiarised students with basic dining manners expected during school meals, along with an introduction to formal table settings and fine dining etiquette. From essential mealtime dos and don’ts to navigating both formal and informal settings with confidence, the workshop aimed to nurture social awareness and polished conduct at the table.

 

The workshop concluded on a thoughtful note, equipping students with lifelong skills that go beyond the dining table, fostering respect, mindfulness, and confidence in social settings.
