NewsMath talk by Mr. Dhananjay K. Upadhyay 22-07-2023

Welham Boys’ School hosted an enriching Math talk by Mr. Dhananjay K Upadhyay. The content of the session ranged from the fundamentals of the subject to the diverse applications of it in real life. Mr. Upadhyay opened the talk with a simplified description of the evolution of the Number Systems. Amongst the various applications, he eloquently managed to explain the working of the RSA Algorithm in Cryptography with detailed examples. He also articulated the mathematical beauty behind the Fibonacci sequence. The students found the talk to be engaging and informative with a lot of meaningful takeaways.
