Spring Fest 2025 at Welham Boys’ School was a vibrant and heartening celebration of creativity, excellence, and community spirit. The two-day event opened with a lively Book Fair that brought the joy of reading and discovery to the forefront. It served as a wonderful reminder of the importance of curiosity and intellectual exploration in a young learner's journey. Alongside, a meaningful Parent-Teacher Meeting provided a platform for open dialogue and reflection on student progress. The School Principal, Ms. Sangeeta Kain, addressed the parent body, highlighting the relevance of a boarding school experience in today’s complex world. She spoke passionately about how a structured, values-based environment helps foster independence, resilience, and holistic development in students—qualities that are essential for navigating modern life with confidence.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the campus transformed into a stage for artistic expression with the Inter-House Dance and Western Choir Competitions. The dance performances were a dynamic display of energy, creativity, and teamwork, with each house bringing unique storytelling and choreography to the spotlight. Ganga House emerged victorious, followed by Jamuna House in second place and Krishna House in third. The Western Choir Competition echoed with powerful harmonies and moving performances, as students poured emotion and skill into each note. Jamuna and Ganga Houses shared the top honors in this contest, while Krishna House secured third place.
Adding to the celebration was the much-anticipated Scholar’s Recognition Ceremony, where students from across all grades were honoured for their outstanding achievements in academics, sports, and co-curricular pursuits. The atmosphere was filled with pride and joy as parents, teachers, and peers applauded the consistent hard work and excellence of the awardees. Ms. Kain once again addressed the gathering, acknowledging the remarkable efforts of the students and reaffirming the school’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals. Spring Fest 2025 concluded on a high note, leaving behind memories of joy, inspiration, and togetherness, and reinforcing the values that lie at the heart of the Welham Boys’ School experience.
