Ms. Sangeeta KainPrincipal of Welham Boys' School

Dear Parents, 21st April, 2020

Greetings from Welham Boys’ School.

Hope you and your loved ones are keeping well and looking after each other.

It is my honour and pleasure to write to you on becoming the newest member of the WBS family. Having been a Career Educator for nearly three decades and having headed schools for nearly a decade now, I understand your desire for continued progress whenever there is a change in leadership. That is so because a change in leadership should also continue to strengthen trust and goodwill. My note to you is the beginning of a relationship between you and me, it is the beginning of a bond and a friendship that will see us both working towards one common goal, the well-being of our Children.

As Educators, our Students are our pride. Each effort they make, each hurdle they cross, each one of their achievements gives us immense joy. Just as we embrace their success, we support them when they stumble, as they most inevitably do. Schools are life simulated and our endeavour is to strengthen the character of our Students so that they are strong in mind, body and soul. Success and failure must affect them to the extent that they bring out the best in them.

As I start my journey at WBS, let me assure you, that the only thing that will drive me will be the thought that my Boys deserve nothing but my best efforts. I will love them like my own, will counsel them like my own, will share their joys and sorrows and from time to time reprimand them like my own. In my endeavour, I seek your trust and support.

Please do connect with me on welham1937@welhamboys.org. I try my best to reply promptly on receiving a mail. Do meet me when you come to School as knowing you is a part of knowing my Boys. Last but not the least, let me assure you that the Staff at WBS is doing all that it takes in a situation as challenging as we are in, to soon connect with all the Students.

Looking forward to an association of mutual trust and respect.

God bless.

Later, she rented another building Bethany that today is our dining hall.
